The Unified Jazz Ensemble is one of the Baltimore-Washington-Annapolis region's most beloved and enduring jazz acts, bringing the best of the music to audiences of all ages since their founding in 1992. The quintet — featuring Mike Noonan on vibraphone, Tim Stanley on trumpet, John Pineda on bass, and Todd Harrison alongside special guest Nate Stanley on guitar — performs with a warmth and precision that reflects over three decades of shared musical history. Their repertoire spans traditional and modern jazz standards alongside original compositions, with more than ten recorded albums to their name. Weekly performers at Reynolds Tavern in Annapolis and monthly residents at 49 West Coffeehouse, the UJE has built an extraordinary following across the region, including appearances at the Annapolis Jazz & Roots Festival and the Classic Theater of Maryland's cabaret series. Whether you're a lifelong jazz devotee or new to the music, the Unified Jazz Ensemble is a perfect entry point — and a reason to keep coming back.
