Born in New Jersey Michael Powers got into the music in the early stages of his life. When kids at the early age of 10 play in the playground Michael was sitting in his backyard playing guitar that his mother got him for his birthday.

At age 17, Michael started his professional career playing with Adlibs and recording with them the famous hit "Boy From NYC."

During his career Michael has played with some of the greatest: John Lee Hooker, Robert Cray, Chuck Berry, Johnny Winter, Rick Derringer, James Cotton and many more. He has recorded several albums and has lent the sound of his guitar to many commercials,

His greatest influence is Jimi hendrex, during his show Michael brings to life the spirit of Hendrix and takes you back to a journey full of music and memories.
