We welcome musicians, comedians, poets, and performers of all kinds to bring their best and take the stage. Sign-up begins at 8:30PM with performances to begin at 9PM. Performances are capped at 7 minutes. Performers receive a buy one get one free drink ticket, good for beers and well drinks!Our backline includes a piano, 4 chorded mics, Ampeg’s BA-210 2x10″ Bass Combo Amp, and a Marshall DSL401 Guitar Amp. Starr Bar is a social justice bar with zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia. We expect all performers and audience members to treat each other with respect and we will intervene with performances that do not follow these guidelines. This event has no cover, but we amicably enforce a 1 food/drink item minimum.Grab a drink and sing your heart out!

No walk-ins allowed. You MUST buy a ticket to enter. No exceptions! When do ticket sales end? Ticket sales end on Wednesday, August 28th, or while supplies last. Only 50 seats are available.  Can I buy tickets at the door? NO! Tickets must be purchased online, by August 28th for admission entry. No exceptions! What's the refund policy? There are NO refunds on ticket purchases. No exceptions! If you are unable to attend, feel free to gift your ticket, and send someone in your place. We will have some times for mixing n mingling, screenings of the films, trailers for other projects, plus some time to listen to music and hang out. In addition, the venue has a bar and food at a separate expense.  MORE INFO ABOUT THE FILM The Way Out: Trying to escape her abusive relationship with her boyfriend, Jewel discovers that the way out of the relationship is much different from wht she expected.  Appetizer: A young woman struggling with heartbreak following a recent breakup finds the courage to go on her first date in months, only to learn that her newfound love interest has been holding on to a date-shattering secret.  It Must Be The Paprika: A young girl trying to find her voice in the world and release herself from her father's grip finds comfort in an unexpected companion.  Come join us for a night of fun!
