||The Glorious Death of Comrade What’s-His- Name
||SHOW DESCRIPTION: A one-night-only concert of The Glorious Death of Comrade What’s-His- Name will be presented January 20, 2020, at 9:30 PM at Feinstein’s/54 Below. The musical is set in Stalin’s Soviet Union, where Semyon, an unemployed grumbler, becomes convinced that suicide is his ticket to fame and glory. Before long, friends and neighbors are plotting to exploit his impending death for fun and profit, and, while they’re at it, topple an entire regime.
Directed by Don Stephenson (The Producers), the concert will
feature Jackie Hoffman (Fiddler on the Roof, Hairspray), Christine Bokhour (Chicago) Raymond Bokhour (Chicago), Jim Borstelmann (Bullets Over Broadway), Maia Guest (Granite Flats), John Jellison (Come From Away), Drew McVety (Spamalot), Christopher Gurr (CATS), and Andy Taylor (Sunset Boulevard).
The Glorious Death of Comrade What’s-His-Name, which has a book by David Bridel, music by Simon Gray, and lyrics by Raymond Bokhour, is based on The Suicide, a farce written by Nikolai Erdman in 1928.

Come to Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York for Frank Sinatra: The Second Century — a celebration of Sinatra’s timeless hit songs! An all-star cast of Broadway and nightclub stars will perform the songs that propelled Ol’ Blue Eyes into the stratosphere of superstars. Hear the hits that turned Sinatra into an icon for the ages, making him one of the rare show business beacons who continues to shine even in his second century. You’ll hear songs like “One For My Baby,” “Chicago,” “My Way,” “It Was a Very Good Year,” and so many more.
||Lea Anderson Sings Whitney Houston
||Come celebrate the life of the most iconic voice of all time, Whitney Houston, in an evening of epic power ballads and pop tunes. Audiences can expect to hear a wide array of Whitney Houston’s greatest hits from her 25 year career, including “Run to You,” “When You Believe,” “So Emotional,” and many more. The night will feature Lea Anderson and surprise musical guests. Through the wonderful world of theatre, Lea Anderson performed in shows including Hair, Little Shop of Horrors, Ragtime, and Smokey Joe’s Cafe. Now a staple of New York’s live music scene, Lea has played venues from The Apollo, the Metropolitan Room, Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre, Duane Park, as well as the Make Music NYC just to name a few. In March 2019, Lea Anderson independently released her first album entitled (Pronounced Lee Deluxe). This is one concert no R&B music lover should miss!
