She started us on this path in 2002 when she joined the cast of Bob Monaco’s Comedy Show. While that troupe did not survive the year, the idea was formed for EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH Comedy. In the past 20+ years Laurice has appeared on many New York stages and a few, TV shows but has always found Improv her artistic home. In recent years Laurice has developed a following in New Media with growing success vlogging about pop culture and more. When not on stage, Laurice drives this project from behind the scenes developing marketing and other strategies. Walt Frasier, Artistic Director Walt Frasier has been with EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH Improv Comedy since the beginning in  2002. In that time he has hosted over 5000 shows and workshops in Times Square and touring Nationwide. Now considered a specialist in corporate team building, Walter embraces Psychological Safety and tries to teach the world to smile. At every workshop, Walter gives his students homework “Now that you have taken my classes, you are now comics. It is your job to make the rest of the world smile. Don’t wait for the world to make you happy first. Wake every morning and force yourself to smile and see how your world changes.”  He has run workshops for JP Morgan Chase, IBM, Morgan Stanley, Master Card, American Express, NYC Schools (DOE VENDOR), Microsoft/BING, Twitter, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Home Depot, Enrst & Young, GM, KRAFT, UBS, UNILEAVER and 100s more smaller/local firms as well as training corporate trainers. Amelia Fowler Many of our clients know Amelia as our former company manager. A very active member Amelia of the team since 2009 is busy doing a lot of TV and other project.  Amelia Fowler, a native of Brooklyn, New York, can  be seen in the upcoming motion pictures “Top Five”, starring Chris Rock and “Learning to Drive” starring, Sir Ben Kingsley as well as “Monica Z”, directed by Per Fly as Ella Fitzgerald and “Orange is the New Black”, directed by Jodie Foster.  Amelia has been seen in commercial spots for Cablevision, the History Channel, IFC, as well as comedy venues throughout the U.S. with her fellow cast mates of the improv troupes “Comedy Sportz – New York City” and “Eight is Never Enough.” Amelia has also had the good fortune to perform in the GLAAD award winning “She Like Girls” at the Ohio Theater as Regina and her one woman show “Flozetta” performed at HERE as part of the “Downtown Urban Theater Festival” and the movie . As an improvisor, Samuel has performed for thousands of students and adults. He has also lead Improvisational workshops for all ages from kindergarten students to senior executives and everything in between. Samuel has lead workshops on the benefit of improv in a business setting for professionals in the education and medical field as well as corporate clients like IBM, Bing, and JP Morgan. As an actor, Samuel works in TV, Film, and Theatre. Samuel has appeared in such TV shows as Evil Talks, Diabolical, and Mysteries at the Museum. Favorite stage roles include Malcolm (The Full Monty), Hal (Proof), and Snoopy (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!). Thomas Burns Scully Assistant Music Director Thomas Burns Scully is a British born writer-performer, now living and working in the States. He is a Max Fischer Award winning graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and has been performing with Eight is Never Enough since 2013. Notable projects as an actor include: appearing in the award-winning short film “The Boy Under the Piano”, the New York Times critically-acclaimed “A Girl Without Wings” (For which he also composed the score), and an upcoming appearance on Martin Scorcese’s HBO pilot ‘The Rock and Roll Project’. He has been playing the guitar and the banjo since age ten, and his work as a musician is available online. As a writer, his work has been produced on three continents. Credits: Off-Broadway- Everything No One Should Know, Press Play. Film/TV: Start-Up (SONY Crackle), Wrecked (TBS), etc. Puerto Rico: High School Musical, Diary of Anne Frank, El Condominio, and other spanish titled plays. Proud member of SAG-AFTRA. Nathan Armstrong Nathan Armstrong has been seen in many productions, including recent tours of Phantom, Brigadoon, and Richard Sherman and Milt Larson’s new musical Pazzazz!  Other regional credits include Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story, Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes, Big River, and Joseph… He is also on the soundtrack for the feature  film Rock Slyde and has performed in venues worldwide, from the Hilton Hawaiian Village to festivals in the Czech Republic and Hungary. In addition to producing, Nathan has vast experience in corporate management and sales. Isaac Beauchamp Isaac Beauchamp is an actor and improviser from Indianapolis, Indiana. He has been living in New York since 2017 and has been a member of Eight is Never Enough since 2018. He has definitely been in shows, and he has definitely enjoyed being in them. He’s in a few frames of the intro to Saturday Night Live, where he plays a waiter in the restaurant he actually works at. Isaac has also shined as a guy who fires a gun in an episode of NBC’s The Blacklist. He has also played King Lear! Watch out as this sure-fire performer skyrockets to the epitome of fame  and notoriety in the near future! He wrote this! Ryan Hudzik Ryan Hudzik would like to believe that you are laughing with him, not at him. He has been with Eight is Never Enough for about a year, and has loved every minute of it. He is a senior at NYU Tisch studying Musical Theatre and Spanish. Favorite NYC credits include the world premier of Iron John (Ron/Cat) in collaboration with the NYU Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Department, and the world premier of A Cabaret for Dark Times (Klaus Nomi) at the NYU Tisch. Liz Lord Liz Lord has been a cast member of Eight is Never Enough presents Improv for Kids and LMAO since April of 2012. After receiving her theater degree from Earlham College, Liz came to the city to act, direct, and teach.  Favorite roles include Ophelia in Hamlet, Liz in Chicago, and She in The Loveliest Afternoon of the Year. She loves performing in new work as well, and has been on stage for many of New York Cities various theater festivals.  Liz has directed adults and children, and is the co-artistic director of the newly formed Three Bridges Theater.  Teaching has always been one of Liz’s favorite endeavors. She has worked with Americorps to bring arts education to low income families, taught literacy through acting with the Central Park Historical Society, and acted as an assistant director for the Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation.  Her favorite teaching position, however, has been teaching stand-up and Improv to kids with SGF Productions. Steven Prestia Steven was just 13 when he attended our first public comedy class for kids/teens. For the past two year Steven served as an Intern often helping with public shows & classes. Now in college Steven regularly performs with the professional comedy and team teaches our Long Island programs. He has appeared in various local plays and musical theater productions in addition to his comedic talents.   He can be seen in the indie film “The Great Kevini” and will soon appear on the HonestlyAmelia.com web series (S2 E4).
