Oct-21-18 06:00 PM The Movies—Improvised! Presented by The Exuberants Improv Comedy @BCC Get in the Show! If you’re like us, you’ve always dreamed of making movies, but a major film project could take years to produce and cost millions of dollars, leaving the director’s chair, sadly, out of your reach.  But now, with the help of improv, that’s all about to change.  Using just a small group of actors and audience suggestions, we make a hilarious, brand new, never-before-seen movie every night.  Audiences love it because their suggestions inspire the show and if they’re celebrating something like a birthday or bachelorette party, the guest of honor gets a cameo onstage! The Exuberant Theatre Company presents: The Movies—Improvised! Each night our 5-actor troupe performs in front of a live audience, we play movie-themed improv games leading up to the creation of a brand new, never-before-seen 30-minute movie based on suggestions from the audience.  The result is hilarity and jaw-dropping artistry.

We're bringing back some of the hilarious comics from last year and adding some new hilarious people too!!  This year we decided to support our furried friends! Alll proceeds from the event will go towards The Sato Project. The Sato Project is dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned dogs in Puerto Rico, locally referred to as “satos”. Since its inception in 2011, The Sato Project has largely focused its efforts on a place unfortunately known as “Dead Dog Beach” in the municipality of Yabucoa, one of the island's poorest. They have rescued over 2,800 dogs to date, rehabilitated them with the highest standards of veterinary care and placed them in loving homes in the greater New York City area. They are also addressing the underlying causes of companion animal overpopulation, abandonment, and abuse through community outreach and a low-cost Spay, Neuter, Vaccine and Microchip Program. Since the devastation of Hurricane Maria, The Sato Project has evacuated over 1,400 dogs to safety and is working to keep families with their beloved pets, and to help the many animals left behind in the storm’s aftermath.   Lineup: Ilissa Jackson Will Spann Usama Siddique Amy Shanker AMarie Castillo Teddy Smith Paul Spratt Hosted by: Veronica Mosey (lineup subject to change)
