Based on the publics response to their debut album Ladde and the warm reception of their promotional tour early this year, Toure Toure embarked on a concert tour of the U.S.westcoast in late July. Omar and Daby Toure backed by seasonned musicians from Paris toured the U.S. and Canada from July 24 through August 3rd making stops in cities where their father and uncle, the older generation Toure Kunda introduced their brand of music in the early 80s.
It was Toure Toure1s first U.S. tour in support of their fine debut album Ladde released on the Tinder label. From Seattle to Canada via Los Angeles, and in cities around San Francisco bay area, the group dazzled audiences in each performance with their astounding heavy-percussion and rhythmically complex sounds and vocal harmonies.
They instantly captured the audiences the moment they set foot on stage and playing two hours straight at some venues and returning for an encore.
